Research Talk on CPS and Possible Opportunities for Students

The Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (MSCSE) program at United International University (UIU) recently hosted an insightful invited talk titled "Design and Research Challenges in Cyber Physical Systems" on 28 June 2025. The event featured Dr. Akramul Azim, Associate Professor at Ontario Tech University, Ontario, Canada, who shared his expertise with faculty, students, and industry professionals.

Dr. Azim, a renowned expert in cyber-physical systems, captivated the audience with an in-depth discussion on the design challenges and emerging research trends in this cutting-edge field. He emphasized real-world applications and the complexities involved in developing reliable, efficient, and secure systems. His talk also showcased the state-of-the-art research facilities at Ontario Tech University, including advanced laboratories for autonomous driving.
As the Graduate Program Director at Ontario Tech University, Dr. Azim also provided valuable insights into the graduate admissions process, funding opportunities, and the academic environment at his institution. His presentation inspired attendees, particularly MSCSE students, to explore research opportunities and pursue advanced studies in this dynamic field. He also asked the students to reach out to him to learn about funding opportunities at the MS and PhD level.
