Message from the Department Head

Welcome to the department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) of United International University (UIU).

“We evolve with technology” – this has been the slogan of the CSE department of UIU. We are offering courses which full fill the requirement of the high academic standard and meet the demand of the present IT industry as well. In total, 75 full-time faculty members are currently serving almost four thousand students in undergraduate and postgraduate levels and the number is increasing day by day. We offer state-of-the-art research facilities with supervision from 13 full-time faculty members with PhD from several reputed universities from North America, UK, Japan and Australia.

This growth of the department is mainly due to the high quality graduates of the department who are currently working in the industry and pursuing higher education home and abroad.  Most of our graduates are getting employed with in the last trimester of their undergraduate or within a very short period. Our graduates are successfully working in reputed companies and organizations. To name a few are: Samsung R&D Institute, Robi Axiata, Tiger IT, DataSoft, ReliSource, Ergo Ventures, Mir Telecom, Brac IT, Standard Chartered Bank, icddr,b etc. Our graduates are also pursuing higher studies in different universities in USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Japan and many other countries.

Due to the congenial atmosphere of the CSE department faculty members and students maintain a very friendly relation. Students are engaged in various academic and co-curricular activities and enjoy their stay here at the department.
