The Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (MSCSE) program at United International University (UIU) warmly welcomed its newest cohort of students during an orientation program held on November 30, 2024 from 01:30PM to 02:30PM. The event marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the Fall 2024 trimester students.

The program commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, setting a serene and spiritual tone for the day.

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nurul Huda, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, extended a heartfelt welcome to the incoming students. His inspiring speech highlighted the program's commitment to academic excellence and professional development.

Prof. Dr. Md. Motaharul Islam, Director of the MSCSE program, provided a comprehensive overview of the program, outlining its curriculum, rules, regulations, and opportunities. He also shared valuable insights into the vibrant academic and research environment at UIU.

The orientation program featured a student introduction session where the new MSCSE students had the opportunity to introduce themselves, sharing details about their undergraduate degrees, current work experiences, and aspirations. This interactive session fostered a sense of camaraderie and belonging among the students.

Several esteemed faculty members from the MSCSE program also introduced themselves, sharing their wealth of experience and knowledge. Their insights into the field of computer science and engineering inspired the students and ignited their passion for learning.

A Q&A session followed, where the newly admitted students had the chance to ask questions about the program, curriculum, and many other issues. Prof. Dr. Md. Motaharul Islam and other faculty members patiently answered each query, clearing any doubts and concerns.

The program concluded with a thank you speech from Prof. Dr. Hasan Sarwar, Dean of the School of Science and Engineering. Dr. Sarwar extended his warm wishes to the new students and encouraged them to make the most of their time at UIU. He also expressed his gratitude to all participants for their contributions to the successful orientation program.
