The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), United International University (UIU) welcomed their new leadership in the department on May 20th, Saturday in a program held in the conference room of the University. Professor Dr. Salekul Islam, Head, Dept of CSE chaired the session. Vice Chancellor (Acting) Professor Dr. Md Abul Kashem Mia was present in the meeting as a special guest. The department welcomed Professor Dr. Hasan Sarwar, ex-Head of the department as the newly appointed Dean of School of Science and Engineering, who will be taking the office in the next month. There was also felicitation for newly appointed Head of the Department Professor Dr. Mohammad Nurul Huda and newly appointed MSCSE direction Professor Dr. Md Motaharul Islam. Also, there was felicitation for Professor Dr. Swakkhar Shatabda who is going to take charge of the newly approved program of B.Sc. in Data Science. The new leadership and faculty members thanked Professor Salekul Islam for his leadership under which the department has reached to unforeseen heights.
