Md. Tarek Hasan was born in 1999 in the Bangladeshi city of Dhaka. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) degree from the Department of CSE at United International University (UIU) in February 2022. He is presently employed by the same university as a Lecturer and he has been working here since June 2022. From February 2022 to June 2022, he was working as a Software Engineer (Engineer I) in the Service eXperience Group (IoT SmartThings iOS) at Samsung Research and Development Institute Bangladesh (SRBD). He served as an Undergraduate Assistant (UA) at UIU from November 2021 to February 2022. Algorithms, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, bioinformatics, and blockchain are some of his areas of research interest. Throughout his undergraduate year, he also actively engaged in programming competitions in both offline and online in different online judges. He was the champion of e-Health category in the Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh 2021 and represent his country as the finalist in the International Blockchain Olympiad 2021. He received a full scholarship every trimester for his stellar academic standing at UIU. He also won various awards by taking part in programming competitions. Throughout his undergraduate years, he also actively participated in volunteer programs. He served as the Programming Wing Executive of UIU Computer Club and the Instructor of UIU App Forum.
