Projects

  • Mars Rover (MAVEN, TELOS) [Ref] [Ref] [Ref]:   A semi-autonomous six-wheeled Mars rover prototype, designed and fabricated for the Mars environment, capable of Extreme Terrain Traversal, Autonomous Navigation, Assisting Astronauts with sophisticated tasks, and detecting the presence of life from soil and rock samples.
  • Autonomous Drone (ICARUS) [Ref]:   An autonomous multi-copter Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for the Mars mission.
  • Prosthetics With Sense (Thesis Project):   A prosthetic hand that can mimic the movements of a real hand and provide haptic feedback to the user for a more natural experience.
  • Development of a 3D printer with IoT integration:  A cost-effective 3D printer from scratch, addressing common issues in existing commercial models. This printer offers cloud integration, wireless operation, and robust monitoring, making it ideal for educational and industrial use.
  • Air Analyzer [Ref]:   A gas monitoring device capable of measuring concentrations of CO, CO2, H2, CH4, NH3, alcohol, benzene, acetone, hexane, toluene, smoke, and flammable gases in parts per million (ppm).
  • Air Quality Monitor [Ref]
  • 4GHz Radio controller:   A multichannel radio controller and receiver with NRF24 Radio module.
  • EmoPot [Ref]:   A smart planter that can sense the soil condition and show an emotional expression (animation)
  • IoT-based Power and Energy meter [Ref]:    Power and Energy Meter that can measure the load voltage, current, power, and energy consumed.
  • Long-term dust monitoring system [Ref]:    Monitor the surrounding dust and large particles (>0.5µm) for a long period of time.
  • Local Weather Station [Ref]:    A self-contained weather station capable of displaying local atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity, and UV index without requiring an internet connection.
