Biography
Md. Nafis Tahmid Akhand is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at United International University (UIU), Bangladesh. He completed his B.Sc. in CSE from KUET with honors and began his research journey with computer vision-based traffic density estimation. His interests span intelligent transportation systems, deep learning, and trustworthy AI. He has published in recognized conferences and recently worked on a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) project integrating LLMs with Google Custom Search. Outside academia, he enjoys chess, novels, and traveling.
