Md. Tarek Hasan is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at United International University, Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering with a perfect CGPA of 4.00 out of 4.00 from United International University (UIU) and was awarded the Valedictorian title at the 7th Convocation of UIU for his overall extraordinary performance in the undergraduate program.

Tarek’s research interests are focused on applied machine learning, with a particular emphasis on computer vision, natural language processing, algorithm design, and reinforcement learning. As a research intern at the National University of Singapore, he specialized in biometric authentication systems and deepfake synthesis and detection. His work has been featured at several international conferences and published in academic journals, contributing to the advancement of AI-driven technologies.

Prior to his academic career, Tarek served as a Software Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Bangladesh, where he worked on the SmartThings (iOS) platform. An accomplished competitive programmer, he has participated in numerous contests, including Codeforces, Google CodeJam, and HackerRank, where he achieved notable success.
