Prof. Salekul Islam, Head of CSE Department, UIU has recently received the Best Presentation Award in ICISPC 2018 (http://www.icispc.org/) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He presented the paper, titled “Computing at the Edge Cloud: Performance Analysis of an Image Comparison Web Service”, authored by Abdullah Al Amin, Shaokat Hossain, Mahtab Uddin, Nasif Muslim, Salekul Islam and Jean-Charles Grégoire. The paper is an outcome of the research work carried out by Abdullah Al Amin, Shaokat Hossain and Mahtab Uddin in their undergraduate thesis work that was supervised by Prof. Salekul Islam.
